Love...Or Something Like That.
Friday, Feb. 06, 2004, 19:58

Love takes time. We all know this to be true. Although the question remains as to how much time does it take? How do you know when love has been found and the search is over? Is it when that particular person says or does something and you think quietly "I love you"? Is it when you think about them all the time and wonder how they are or what they are doing? Is it when you no longer have the desire to meet another potential new mate? When you decide to take a break from the dating scene? Or maybe when you do go on a date with someone else and there are no sparks. Are you in love when there is not one thing you can think of that you do not like about them? When there is nothing in the world that you wouldn't do for that person. How about when you truly want to know everything about them, their favorite meal, color and song. Or maybe it is when you have the desire to know all the details of their childhood, where they went to school, the color of their favorite bike or the family pet's name.

Are you in love when you can look at someone and feel that you absolutely adore them? When you have the need to memorize every detail of their face, or when you wonder if they will ever tire of you? When you wonder "what if" things and try to imagine what life would have been like if you'd met them 20 years ago.......does this mean that you are in love?

I guess, only time will tell.
